Charcuterie & Clay Workshop
It’s finally coming to Kentucky!
In April, my good friend, Maria, and I, hosted two Charcuterie & Clay workshops at her pottery studio just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. They were the first of their kind, but naturally, Kentucky has to have it’s turn! In August, Maria will be traveling to my home in Kentucky, where we will host the third Charcuterie & Clay workshop.
During this workshop you will get to choose a handmade serving board from On Providence Hill. These boards are approximately 12” long and are all unique. You will also learn some tips and tricks for using your serving board, as well as examples of ways to style it as decor. I want this piece not to be something that takes up space and gathers dust, but a piece you love and can use daily, whether for serving or for decorating. There will also be snacks and who doesn’t love snacks?!
The star of the show, however, will be the bowl you create. Maria will walk you step by step through how to turn a slab of Kentucky clay from Kentucky Mudworks into something beautiful. How special to have a piece of pottery you created with your own hands? These bowls will be sized perfectly to fit on your board and make a statement.
Also available at the workshop will be extra pieces for purchase - both from Potteria & On Providence Hill, however, there will be absolutely no pressure to buy.
